  • Zelinda Melo

    ASSISTANT GUIDE - LOWER ELEMENTARY

Hello, Cosmic families!! My name is Zelinda, and I will be the assistant guide for Miss Sabrina in the lower elementary classroom. A fun fact about me is I was born and raised here in Georgetown and I’m the youngest of six. A few things that bring me joy are: plain frozen yogurt, arts and crafts, cats, zinnias, crystals, springtime, farmers markets, the moon & stars, city skyline, my siblings + niece and nephews, and being in or around water. What I’m most excited about in joining Cosmic is the close-knit community. It feels very intentional to be part of a smaller staff with such engaged families. I graduated from GHS in 2022, where I completed four years of Child Development and spent my last two years interning in elementary schools as a teacher’s aide. I then worked at a nearby school for a little over a year, where I met many of the current Cosmic staff. The following school year, I became a nanny for a wonderful family who is also part of the Cosmic community.
